"I cannot say enough about what a joy it was to work with and buy a new home from Ryan at Carolina Craftsman Builders. On top of that, we are obsessed with every inch of our new home! The pictures and videos of his homes don't even do his work justice. Just wait till you see it in person! Or wake up to it every morning! The layouts of his homes are so amazing, the high ceilings, doors, we love it and it's so livable! 

The quality is unmatched and we notice and appreciate his attention to detail everyday. All the appliances and finishes are of the highest quality. It's the little things that he does so well; the things that he doesn't have to do, and that as first time home owners we wouldn't realize were important. 

One important thing to note is that my favorite part of working with Ryan was his great taste. It was so great to not have to worry about all the choices that would typically go into designing a home, knowing that someone with the best taste was in charge. It was so comforting to know that he really was the expert and would save us from making any wrong choices should we have been in charge. We had an interior designer walk through our home after we bought it and she pointed out a bunch of smart choices that Ryan made in finishes that we didn't even realize. Like the family friendly quartz counters, the non-white grout in the shower that won't show dirt and the list went on and on. Every week we find something else awesome about the house we didn't realize. He builds beautiful homes inside and out and puts thought into every detail.  

We were referred to Ryan from Carolina Craftsman Builders by a friend of my husband that loved their new home they purchased from him. While Ryan didn't have anything available immediately, it was worth every minute of the wait. We renewed our lease and Ryan kept us in the loop the entire way. We had to stay patient and we are so thankful that we did! We absolutely love our home and I'm so thankful that it's a Carolina Craftsman Builders home!! "My husband and I met Ryan Meeuwsen as potential buyers of a home he had listed for sale.  From the moment we entered the home it was obvious that Ryan put careful thought into which touches would help bring this 1980s brick ranch home into the current century and make it appealing to potential buyers.  He not only added upgrades of crown molding, granite, stainless, tile floors, and hardwoods but went to the trouble of going the extra mile and doing things like adding  parquet designs in both the living area and the master bedroom.  He opened up the kitchen and added seating at a granite bar area as well as opening up the back of the house by adding on a light-filled sunroom that included an intricate ceiling design, a gas fireplace and surround sound capabilities.  The home is nestled on a wooded lot with a stream running through it – just the place for Ryan to add a lovely outdoor fireplace and brick patio that invites one  to sit under the stars with a glass of wine and relax after a long day.  While we didn’t contract Ryan directly for any of these projects, I can certainly speak to enjoying the fruits of his labors as we were able to buy  the home they’d listed  and have been living happily ever after in it for over two years now.  Ryan has a good eye for materials and seems to have a keen sense of what makes a house a home."

When we moved to Charlotte last year and started searching for homes, the number of charming neighborhoods and beautiful homes pleasantly surprised us.  An important requirement for our own search was that the home had to be “craftsman” style.  By chance we saw a Carolina Craftsman Builders (CCB) built home and thought that it was one of the most stunning craftsman homes that we had seen thus far in our search.  Although the house was under contract before being listed on the market, Ryan let us walk through the property.  The attention to detail and craftsmanship were apparent as soon as we took our first step through the door.  The mix and blend of the craftsman style with the modern created a very elegant and distinct home. When we finished walking through the house we knew that we wanted our dream home to be a CCB home designed and built by Ryan Meeuwsen.

We patiently waited three months for Ryan to complete the build of his next home and we stayed in touch with him to make sure we had the opportunity to make an offer.  Ryan notified our realtor as the home edged closer to completion to give us a walk through the property.  During the initial walk through Ryan made a statement about his home designs that made a huge impression on us.  He stated that he designed homes that were meant for the “Evolution of Life” where the design and layout adapted to the different stages of life.  For example you start living on both floors with the Master bedroom on the second floor and as you get older and stairs become more challenging you can move and live primarily on the first floor.  This was exactly what we were looking for in our future home in addition to the bells and whistles that came along with the home.  A large front porch off the dining room, a huge kitchen with a 6 burner stove with a walk-in pantry, a master bathroom with marble shower and claw-foot tub, beautiful jaw dropping moldings all supported by an overall open and functional layout. We were lucky enough to put an offer on this home and were so excited when Ryan accepted our offer. The unique details to his homes are endless as we discover new things on a daily basis.

My husband and I feel very fortunate to own a Carolina Craftsman Builder home and Ryan has been a pleasure to deal with during the process.  Ryan continues to reach out even after the purchase of the home to make sure we are happy and satisfied with the home.  If you have an opportunity to purchase a Carolina Craftsman Builder home you should take it as we strongly feel Ryan is a builder who builds homes with the homeowners in mind.

I recently bought a Carolina Craftsman Builders home and confidently recommend them to others! I contacted Ryan a few months prior to my purchase concerning another CCB home I had viewed online.
